The Rough & Tumble are a hardscrabble folk/Americana duo, consisting of Mallory Graham and Scott Tyler. After over 500,000 miles and 14 years of touring, The R&T find themselves at home at festivals, listening rooms and house concerts across the country. Their commanding stage presence, engaging performances and affecting songwriting have garnered them a reputation as a band to see each time they come to town because you won’t see the same show twice. In 2023 they received recognition for their work as New Hampshire residents and received a grant from Club Passim's Iguana Music Fund. They have been embraced by fans for their stark honesty, unique storytelling and well-crafted melodies especially after 2024’s release, Hymns For My Atheist Sister and Her Friends To Sing Along To, a collection of deeply personal, unifying and uplifting, humanist gospel songs.

Parking Note: There is no parking at Thacher Hall. Parking is available just across Route 6A from Thacher Hall around the Common, as well as at the Edward Gorey House, Post Office, and Chapter House Inn. Crossing attendants will be available to assist with crossing Route 6A at the designated crosswalk in front of Thacher Hall. If you need accessible parking information, please email events@thacherhall.org.

Accessibility Note: Thacher Hall is a historic building and is not accessible via wheelchair - a short flight of stairs is required for entrance into the Hall and the restrooms are located on the lower level (accessed via stairs).
