J. Skydancer is a Cape Cod based sonic alchemist of ambient music. He improvises sonic meditation journeys using a varying array of instruments, vocals, electronic effects and percussion to emulate crystal singing bowls and natural vibrations, constructing a hypnotic sonic environment.
The intention behind these sonic explorations is to tap into cosmic energies and shift the listener's consciousness toward deeper states of understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness, through the merging of paradoxical/opposite concepts and emotions.
Participants are encouraged to come open-hearted and intent on observing and reflecting on the subconscious mind. Wear comfortable attire and bring a yoga mat or blanket (pillows welcome too!) so that you’ll be relaxed for this sonic experience.
Tea will be offered before and after the sound journeys, and we’ll dedicate time at the end of the session for sharing and meditating on our individual and collective experiences of the journey.
About Dani Reardon a.k.a. Sonic Prayer (joining on May 10th):
"I am on a mission to help people wake up to themselves and the force within through the expansion of knowledge and connection to each other and universal wisdom. It is my intention to create a safe container through yoga, sound, ceremony, and retreats for us to evolve, so that we may live more fully, freely, and consciously aware of who we are, what we want, and why. May the Force be With You!
