Join Jonathan Weir for an intimate Chopin recital, where each work is thoughtfully framed with stories, context, and insight. Experience the music fully as I combine performance with narration, creating an engaging and immersive listening journey.

CHOPIN – Prelude in E Minor

CHOPIN – Nocturne in E Major, Op. 68 No. 2

CHOPIN – Fantaisie-Impromptu in C-Sharp Minor, Op. 66

CHOPIN – Waltz in A-Flat Major, Op. 42

CHOPIN – Polonaise in A‑Flat Major, Op. 53 (“Heroic”)

CHOPIN – Ballade No. 4 in F Minor, Op. 52


Jonathan Weir is a classical pianist and vocalist trained at NEC Prep and the Hartt School, where he earned a degree in Piano Performance and Composition. He performs throughout Massachusetts, presenting Classical and Romantic repertoire with clarity and expressive depth.

Parking Note:  There is no parking at Thacher Hall. Parking is available just across Route 6A from Thacher Hall around the Common, as well as at the Post Office and Chapter House Inn. Crossing attendants will be available to assist with crossing Route 6A at the designated crosswalk in front of Thacher Hall. If you need accessible parking information, please email events@thacherhall.org.


Accessibility Note:  Thacher Hall is a historic building and is not accessible via wheelchair - a short flight of stairs is required for entrance into the Hall and the restrooms are located on the lower level (accessed via stairs).
